Andrew is an all rounder, a seasoned businessman who has been ‘around the block’, with both private and public sector experience. He read for a BA (Hons) in Accounting, Finance and Law and has an MBA.

He worked in senior roles at GKN PLC and Saatchi and Saatchi PLC before then becoming an investment manager with a venture capital fund. He is an active investor with equity holdings in a number of private limited companies as well as owning his own portfolio of buy to let investments.

Within the public sector, he was on the board of the Commission for the New Towns where he was responsible for inward investment, requiring him to travel extensively in the Far East and in North America. He is a specialist in combining different sources of finance including equity, debt and grant funding. Andrew is an Associate Partner with the UK’s leading business angel funders, Beer and Partners. Clients enjoy his down to earth approach. He is a rugby ‘nut’ supporting Cardiff Blues and Wales!
